The title of this seminar “Resolution of cross-border family conflicts: international, EU, and national legislation”.

In particular, this session is manly focused on the current international situation and future expectations in order to improve international cooperation in this field. In addition, participants attending activities of the first phase of the project stressed the importance of dealing thoroughly with the issue of how domestic violence can influence the resolution of cross-border family conflicts.

In this respect, the different subtopics will enable us to carry out a detailed analysis of several relevant aspects which are directly linked to the importance that cases of cross-border family conflicts are acquiring nowadays, also considering the increased number of mixed marriages. We are going to share the international experts’ opinion and the participants’ approach on these topics from their own perspective, experience and respective competences.
