This meeting takes place under the second main component of the project: Resolution of Cross-Border Family Conflicts. This meeting takes place under the first component of the EuroMed Justice III project: Access to Justice and Legal Aid. The objective of this activity will be to prepare a handbook which identifies and describes possible approaches and best practices to improve access to justice and legal aid. This is the fifth of 5 meetings related to this issue.

This meeting takes place under the third main component of the project: Criminal and Penitentiary Law. The objective of this activity is two-fold, namely to promote a debate on the reform of criminal systems in the beneficiary countries, with special reference to procedural criminal law, and to improve judicial cooperation in criminal matters. This working group on criminal law also aims to provide a forum within which the above-mentioned debate can take place on ways of improving judicial cooperation. The work of this WG will focus on the preparation of a tool equivalent to the so-called “fiches belges” for the ENPI South partner countries.

This meeting takes place under the second Working Group (WG 1.2) of the first main component of the project: Access to Justice and Legal Aid, and is focused on Justice and the New Technologies. The objective of this activity will be to prepare a handbook describing approaches and best practices with regards to the use of technologies for the case management, circulation of materials, data collection in the legal field and communication of case law to the public. This is the second of 3 meetings devoted to this issue.
